Mark Doel - This event is the book launch for an international project in which 60 people from different walks of life have been invited to photograph and write briefly about a place that has particular significance for them – their ‘Somewhere’ – from an ordinary bus stop in Sheffield to a home in the West Bank. Mark Doel will present the ideas behind the project, consider ideas of place and placelessness, and introduce some of examples from the book. Free, booking advised.
