Dailey as he discusses the life and times of the king of tomatoes, how they were planted, harvested and how a tiny community of Goulds plays a giant role in the attack on the Florida keys an Henry Flagler march to Key West by 1912.Meet us at the iconic red caboose to begin your leisurely stroll, as we pop in and out of the main headquarters of Cauley's empire and the small homes later brought to Cutler and in effect guard them from the wrecking ball. We will also get a first hand account of the back acres and mysterious sections of the original pineland now a shaded wonderland with color and relics everywhere
