A FAMILY CONCERT ARTISTSJames Watson, ViolinJocelyn Mah, DancerLaura Reid & Jiajia Li, Interactive presentation Music As Puppetry is a whimsical all-ages mask-music-movement collaboration between Dance Artist Jocelyn Mah and Violinist/Composer James Watson, using their joint vocabulary of contemporary and folk/jazz idioms. The story presents marionette doll Violon under the command of the puppet maestro Gepetto. Can Violon develop her own identity and creative voice apart from Gepetto? This 30-minute performance will be preceded by an interactive presentation by ISC ADs Laura Reid and Jiajia Li geared towards young listeners.
