Daydreaming with Miguel Herreras

Daydreaming is a recurring event at Koda where we invite selectors to take us on an extended listening trip to drift away to.

Long sets make it possible to go down different roads, to surprise, to let loose and strengthen the emotional response. This time, we have invited DJ, architect and designer working between space and sound: Miguel Herreras

As a resident at Operator Radio, he hosts the bi-monthly show Filtering Records, exploring his diverse and ever-evolving record collection through a new narrative each time. His sets move seamlessly across styles and eras, from ambient electronics, soul, and jazz to Chicago house, Detroit mechanics and everything in between.

Beyond the booth, he co-founded Form Follows Frequency, a studio developing high-performance sound systems that explore the relationship between architecture and acoustics.
