Chicago’s very first German neighborhood will come alive with the sights, sounds, and flavors of Bavaria. The first Old Town on Wells Oktoberfest in Sept of 2025 was highly successful, attracted significant media attention, and was packed all weekend with thousands of festival-goers from Old Town and beyond - including many international guests! As the festival footprint is just over one city block, all vendors will be “where the action” is and have great opportunities to offer food, crafts, and other items to festival attendees. Here is what to expect:Authentic Flavors: Feast on bratwurst, pretzels, and classic German beers.Lively Entertainment: Dance and sing along with traditional German bands, local favorites, and festival performers all weekend. Big-Screen Football and Games: Catch the action on a giant outdoor screen and test your strength in Masskrugstemmen (stein-holding contests) for a chance to win prizes. Whether you’re here for the food, the music, or simply to raise a glass with friends, Old Town Oktoberfest has become Chicago’s newest fall tradition.
