Have you ever noticed — you slip on a really cute top, swipe on some mascara, and head out with your friends, and the right fit just changes the way you see yourself? Then you walk into the club, the right song hits, and suddenly you're that b&tch, ready to take up space on the dancefloor. ⊹₊˚‧︵‿₊⊱·✶·⊰₊‿︵‧˚₊⊹ For queer people, that feeling is never just about aesthetics. In a world that still tries to shrink us, silence us, or push us back into the shadows, fashion and music become something more — an armor for reclaiming and taking up space. ︵‿₊‿︵‧︵‿₊‿︵‧︵‿₊‿︵ CC COLLECTIVE is a new Berlin-based FLINTA collective, co-founded by OKILLA (she/her) and viceversa (they/them). We are rooted in the idea of using fashion and music as tools for empowerment and self-transformation. We are excited to present you CVNTY.VOL1 - our debut event centering a fashion show showcasing a collection of handcrafted designs by OKILLA, accompanied with an experimental DJ set by viceversa. In-between the show, there will be performances, an art market showcasing local queer artists, and DJ sets designed to let you tap into your most authentic expression. ︵‿₊‿︵‧︵‿₊‿︵‧︵‿₊‿︵ The word "c&nty" originates from the ballroom floor — coined and lived by Black and Latino queer and trans communities, in the houses and balls that turned survival into artistry. It's not just an adjective. It's a testament. An energy channeled to fight oppression and discrimination. A powerful force to be awakened with you that is crucial to tap into, to not just survive, but to resist, reclaim and take up space in the systems of today. The theme is 'cvntitude': the unapologetic expression of self, and taking up exactly as much space as you were always meant to. Unapologetic. Empowered. Yours. This is our love letter to the legacy and the communities that have fought for us, to be able to experience the queer joy that we can today.
