In her Marathi book Nrutyamaya Jag… Nartanaacha Dharma , she brings together memories, experiences and reflections from a life shaped by dance, revealing the artiste, teacher, choreographer and seeker behind the work. This abhivaachan presents a selection of excerpts from the book, chosen and sequenced by Vandana Bokil , its editor, to create a cohesive, almost chronological journey through Bhate’s life and relationship with dance. Bokil and Gauri Lagoo will give voice to these passages, allowing the thoughts and questions within the book to unfold.
