Returning to Space Studios we are honoured to welcome back Flat Venus. Formed from a group of close friends, Norwich-based Flat Venus are a quintet inspired by the dream-pop and folk band scene of the 90s. With a wistful and foreboding approach to their harmony-heavy tunes, the group specialise in vulnerable lyrics and spaced-out, jangly guitar riffs, while also dipping their toes into the heavier side. They are proudly releasing ‘Floorboards’ on August 27th, a 90s-inspired rock song that sits in the space between nostalgia and momentum, where lush melodies meet gritty undercurrents.
