Laila Woozeer: (Support TBA)

Laila Woozeer presents a headline gig at The Finsbury. Featuring songs from the last 15 years. Support Acts TBA. Laila WoozeerSooooo you've read my book, or heard my poems, or seen me playing/ accompanying/ live-scoring somewhere, or seen me perform in something. BUT what happens when I do them all together? Who soundtracks the soundtrackers? … okay well I do, I soundtrack myself except it's writing songs and it's the thing that combines all of the other things I do and therefore, that which is most sacred to me. Please come and hear the many songs I have written about my life, and other peoples lives, and lives in general and what it means to be in them. “Dreamlike” - The Guardian “Sodding brilliant” – Edge Music "a moving and delicate performer" - The Upcoming "eclectic mix of influences.. delivered with feeling and effervescence" - Paste, "an audio treat… ranging from cinematic odysseys to intimate Wainwright-esque ballads" - BBC Music Magazine
