YES International School 設立10周年記念イベント ～ 建築家・藤本壮介さんを迎えて～（English follows） 2026年、YES International Schoolは設立10周年を迎えます。 この節目を記念し、9月11日（金）、横浜にてYES International School 設立10周年記念イベントを開催いたします。 特別ゲストとしてお迎えするのは、世界を舞台に活躍する建築家 藤本壮介さんです。 当日は、藤本さんによる基調講演に続き、YES International School校長でサイエンス作家の竹内薫との対談を行います。 建築、教育、子どもたちの創造性、そして「未来の学校」。 これからの時代に、学校とはどのような場所であるべきなのか。子どもたちが自由に考え、学び、成長するための環境とは何なのか。 建築と教育、それぞれの視点から語り合います。 また、対談終了後には、参加者から藤本さんへの質問応答の時間も予定しています。 藤本さんのご登壇後には、YES International Schoolの教育理念や特色、学校生活、今後の展望についてご紹介する学校説明会も開催しますので、YESへの入学をご検討中や進学先をお探しのご家庭をはじめ、新しい教育や国際教育、これからの学校のあり方に関心をお持ちの皆さまも、ぜひご参加いただけますと幸いです。イベントにはYES生も参加しますので、是非お子様も一緒に会場へお越しください。 日時：2026年9月11日（金） 時間：16:30 開場 17:00 開始 会場：TKPガーデンシティPREMIUM横浜西口 4C会場 定員：約200名（定員に達し次第受付を締め切らせていただきます） プログラム（予定） 17:00 開会・YES International School校長挨拶 17:30頃 藤本壮介さん 基調講演（約30分） 18:00頃 藤本壮介さん × 竹内薫 対談（約30分） 18:30頃 参加者から藤本壮介さんへの質問タイム（約15分～30分） その後 YES International School 交流会・学校説明会 会場ではコーヒー、水、スナックなども用意いたします。 YES International Schoolの10年間を振り返るとともに、子どもたちと学校の「これから」を考える特別な一夜です。 皆さまのご参加を心よりお待ちしております。 ＊＊＊＊＊＊＊ Celebrating 10 Years of YES International School with World-Renowned Architect Sou Fujimoto In 2026, YES International School celebrates its 10th anniversary. To mark this special milestone, we are delighted to announce a special 10th Anniversary Event, taking place in Yokohama on Friday, 11th of September 2026. Our special guest will be Sou Fujimoto, one of Japan’s most internationally acclaimed architects, whose work has gained recognition around the world. The event will begin with a keynote speech by Mr Fujimoto, followed by a conversation with Kaoru Takeuchi, Principal of YES International School and science writer. Architecture, education, children’s creativity, and the school of the future. What should a school be like in the years to come? What kind of environment can enable children to think freely, learn independently and grow into their full potential? Drawing on their respective perspectives on architecture and education, Sou Fujimoto and Kaoru Takeuchi will explore what schools could—and perhaps should—become in the future. Following the conversation, there will also be an opportunity for members of the audience to ask Mr Fujimoto questions directly. After Mr Fujimoto’s talk, we will also hold a school information session introducing the educational philosophy and distinctive features of YES International School, as well as school life and our vision for the future. Whether you are considering YES as a possible school for your child, are exploring future educational options, or are simply interested in innovative approaches to education, international education, and what schools could look like in the future, we warmly invite you to join us.
