Red Light Disco launches as a new monthly Friday at Buff Club, a venue that has played a defining role in Glasgow’s club culture for years. For many, it remains the city’s home of disco, a room known for backing credible music and building loyal dancefloors. Residents Shaka Loves You step into that legacy as they mark 15 years behind the decks. Their history in the scene aligns naturally with the club’s reputation: consistent, informed and rooted in the dancefloor. Red Light Disco is not a one-off concept. It is a long-term fixture, running on the first Friday of every month. The direction is clear, disco house with depth, delivered in a red-lit room built for movement. This launch sets the foundation for the next chapter at Buff Club.

SUPPORT Glasgow-based DJ Daniel Hive has built a reputation for warm, groove-led sets that sit comfortably between disco, house and deeper club sounds. A regular across the city’s dancefloors, his selections lean into rhythm and flow over flash, with a focus on records that work in the room. Whether early doors or late, he brings a considered approach that fits naturally into the Red Light Disco setting.
