The Pittsburg Youth Advisory Council (PYAC) serves as a youth advisory board to the Pittsburg City Council. The council provides local students an opportunity to develop leadership skills, participate in civic engagement, and contribute ideas that help shape the future of Pittsburg. Members serve as ambassadors for the City and represent the interests and perspectives of Pittsburg's youth.The Pittsburg Youth Advisory Council encourages active participation in community service projects, local government initiatives, economic development discussions, beautification efforts, and special community events.
