An evening of klezmer music and songs - Experience the vibrant sounds of Simcha, a premier UK-based klezmer band from Lincoln.Simcha’s music celebrates the fusion of different traditions and cultures which took place in Eastern Europe in the early part of the last century. Jewish, Balkan, Gypsy and Arabic styles combine to provide a wonderful synthesis of grass roots music that brought ordinary people together. Sometimes joyful, sometimes tragic, it is always moving.
