Jahmed + Present Company + DJ Joei Supernova - Present Company - with their release ‘The Light’ doing good business on streaming, this folk tinged alt/indie band have a warm, melodic sound that is very welcoming on the ears. Somewhere between REM and Hawkwind (space rocking FX ahoy!), this is a very promising outfit. Jahmed - German groovers playing some excellent frugby-able stuff that certainly bears the hallmarks of their Kosmiche forebears plusGerman groovers playing some excellent frugable stuff that certainly bears the hallmarks of their Kosmiche (Can/Neu!) forebears plus not a little Mondays/Charlatans Brit baggy beat and maybe even something of Focus and other progadelic folky stuff like that. Excellent. Got good tunes too.
