Embodiment Workshop • Sensual Bachata • Bachata SocialMore than learning steps.Embodhiment Dance is a different kind of partner-dance experience—one that begins with the body, deepens through connection, and comes alive through movement and expression.Join us for our first Embodhiment Dance experience at the renowned Delray Ballroom, featuring Dr. Marissa Ivette and Sensual Bachata.A Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and longtime dancer, performer and teacher, Marissa brings a unique understanding of the human body to partner dance. At the heart of her teaching is nonviolent, nonverbal communication through movement—cultivating safety, listening, connection and expression between partners.The evening begins with Justin Roberts and an Embodiment Workshop exploring natural posture, structural alignment and body awareness. Drawing from his background in craniosacral therapy, massage, yoga, martial arts and movement, Justin helps you become more grounded, present and connected to your body before you ever take a dance step.First, feel yourself. Then connect with another.
