World Usability Day 2026 will take place on November 12, 2026, at the Campussaal of FHNW in Brugg-Windisch — an inspiring venue for exchange, fresh perspectives, and meaningful encounters.

Under this year’s global theme, “Designing a Sustainable Future with Ethical AI,” the event explores how artificial intelligence and human-centered design can work together to shape a more sustainable and equitable future.

At the same time, we focus on what this means in practice:
How can AI support UX professionals in their daily work — today?

Participants can expect a day of inspiration, exchange, and practical insights — connecting big-picture thinking with real-world application.

What to expect

Inspiring talks and perspectives on AI and UX

Practical workshops and real-world experiences

Exchange with professionals from across Switzerland

Opportunities for discussion, networking, and new ideas

Please note: Registration for capacity-limited sessions and workshops will open at a later stage. All relevant information and the registration link will be sent by email to ticket holders.

Participants will not only gain insights but also have the opportunity to connect across disciplines, experience levels, and organizations, creating space for new collaborations, perspectives, and opportunities.

Who should attend

UX designers, researchers, developers, product managers, students, and anyone interested in human-centered design and the future of technology.

The event also welcomes teams, agencies, and organizations looking to exchange ideas, connect with the UX community, and gain new perspectives.

Organization

The event is organized by UX Schweiz, the professional association and network for UX professionals in Switzerland, bringing together experts from across the country for a day of inspiration, exchange, and new ideas.
