Join us for a relaxed, one-hour social walk around the beautiful Meiji Jingu area, one of Tokyo's most peaceful green spaces. But here's the thing: this isn't your typical sightseeing tour. It's all about meeting fellow solo travelers from around the world, sharing stories, and discovering a quieter side of Tokyo together. Talk about your travels, your home countries, your favorite places in Japan, or whatever comes to mind. Come solo. Walk together. Explore Tokyo with a Local Host Your host is the founder of IPPO, a Tokyo-based walking community that regularly brings people together through local walking events. Having organized many walks in this area, we've discovered some of our favorite lesser-known paths around Meiji Jingu. Rather than rushing between famous tourist attractions, we'll take you on a relaxed walk through peaceful greenery and local spots you might otherwise miss. It's a chance to experience Tokyo through the eyes of someone who genuinely loves walking around the city. 3. More Conversations, Less Sightseeing This experience is all about connecting with people. Instead of listening to long historical explanations, you'll spend most of your time walking and chatting with fellow travelers. We'll walk in small groups and occasionally switch groups so you can meet different people throughout the experience. Our friendly local host will help break the ice and keep things comfortable. No pressure. No awkward small talk required. If fewer than 4 people register, the event will be canceled, and all participants will receive a full refund.
