Love Games gives dancers a home away from home under Good Room’s disco ball this Thanksgiving weekend. On Friday, November 27, you’re invited to shake off your turkey dinner to the sounds of Dee Diggs, Benny Soto, Frantz, Lauren Murada and Finn Jones with your chosen dance floor family.

A selectress who has no inhibitions in the booth, we welcome Dee Diggs back to the main room. A lifelong student of house music, a staple on festival lineups around the world, and an icon of Brooklyn’s queer community, her sets are a celebration of club culture, of queerness, of community, and of house and techno’s Black American innovators. Whether she’s playing sensual club edits, soulful realness, sneaky grooves, passionate thumpers, or nostalgic gems, she’s the ultimate party starter and the perfect guest for Love Games.

Dee will be joined by party residents Lauren Murada & Finn Jones on warm up in the main room, while two local heroes take over the Bad Room—Benny Soto and Frantz.

Benny has played an integral role in the underground dance music scene in NYC for decades. Former assistant to iconic New York pop culture artist Keith Haring, he has seen it all, from rubbing shoulders with Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Grace Jones in the days of the Paradise Garage, to the current Brooklyn nightlife boom. A wealth of knowledge, he still dedicates himself to what he loves, the music, hosting Benny Soto 718 Sessions with Danny Krivit and doing the occasional cheeky late-night set.

Native New Yorker FRANTZ has carved a niche for himself on the rave/groove spectrum via dance label promo gigs, a glorious stint at famed digger spot The Thing, and a pre-pandemic stay in Mexico City while continuously forging a genre-agnostic sound. Pushed by disco, techno, and global grooves, he brings it all together to pull the dancefloor towards a well-earned peak. He'll bring this approach on his return to the Bad Room, this time kicking it off for those who make NYC home for the holiday season.
