CSB Backyard Ultra

Event Description: The social running club Courir Sans Ballon (CSB) is hosting a Backyard Ultra at the Frederic Back Park. This is an amateur non-sanctioned event to bring the running community together and inspire runners to run their longest distance. It is a perfect setting to run further than 5k, 10k. Or achieve your first 21k and even achieve your first marathon or ultra marathon distance. Included in the inscription will be food, an on-site physio, and participation prizes. Additionally, this year CSB will continue to partner with and help raise funds for the Head2Core Foundation. Where, $20 of each inscription will be donated. Participants will also be able to receive a tax receipt for their donation. Event Details: - The registration deadline is October 31st at 11:59pm. - The first loop starts at 10 am and participants are asked to Check-In between 8 am and 9am For this year's distance there will be a maximum of 12 loops totalling a max distance of 80km. The last one(s) standing win(s). - This is a non-sanctioned race and therefore is not recognized by any sporting governing federations. - Although there will be food and beverages provided, participants can bring their own if they would like. - This is a rain or shine event. - There will not be any refunds. - Participants are encouraged to bring their own chair.
