Fragment x Rubedo

In the twilight of the year, Fragment and Rubedo are coming together to deliver a special event, raising funds for Shayleen Rose’s gender-affirming surgery.

We’re excited to bring together some of London’s finest, from emerging talent to globally established artists. Amongst this hugely talented line-up, we have YAYA… we have YOYO… yes, we really did that... Alongside Twang, Noah Tauber, Aniaef and dj People’s Princess, with special appearances representing both collectives from Antøniø and Rubedo founder Shayleen Rose herself.

Shayleen shares:

“I have been working on Rubedo since the year began, so to close it on a fourth edition in collaboration with Fragment is an amazing achievement. Rubedo means redness; in alchemy and psychology, it represents a final stage of development. The concept brought me peace in my transness by being able to unify the opposites of myself. I wanted to create a meaningful night, and so Rubedo was born, a primarily trans healthcare fundraising night.

We have some exciting events in the planning for next year, and I am excited to bring to this night a special set on the eve of the winter solstice.”

Both our collectives believe in creating spaces where people are free to express themselves and exist as they are, without judgement or discrimination. In times like these, it is more important than ever to come together, support one another and make space for the community.
