Introducing the HOME RADIO dance series, an extension of all the things that make our radio shows, symposiums and Ludi Club gatherings feel warm, intentional and rooted in heritage - but we’re giving you a little bit more space to move your waist, dance with a friend (or a lover) and free your body. We call this one: THE DANCE STARTS AT HOME We’re going to be travelling through the last 50 years - Home Radio style. Come through to hear Lovers Rock, Street Soul, Bruk and Jungle from our family of DJ’s and MC’s on the mighty Each One Teach One sound system. And we’ll be hosting a legendary cypher: London’s most fiery MC’s over funky and ragga-infused beats. This is going to feel just like the Blue’s Parties you might have heard about from back in the day. There’ll be two rooms: the kitchen will be LIVELY, with a large pot of Caribbean soup on the stove from Grandma Cynthia, Trini Doubles from Eyram of Garden of Afruika and spiced, loose-leaf teas from Gabriel Dedji.
