Parkes Elvis Festival 2027 - The Fabulous Blues Brothers

THE BLUES BROTHERS ARE COMING TO PARKES!
As part of the Parkes Elvis Festival, The Fabulous Blues Brothers are taking over Parkes Leagues Club for a special event on Wednesday 6 January.
The Fabulous Blues Brothers is a powerhouse tribute to the iconic Jake and Elwood Blues, bringing the music, comedy and unmistakable style of the legendary 1980 film and its Saturday Night Live beginnings to the stage.
Brad Kendrick stars as Jake Blues, drawing on more than 20 years of international experience performing Blues Brothers shows across Australia, oncruise lines and even at Universal Studios Japan. His powerhouse vocals and commanding presence deliver Jake’s grit, humour and soul in full force.
Beside him, festival favourite Tristan James steps into the shoes of Elwood Blues with cool deadpan charm, sharp musicality and infectious onstage energy, all while producing the show with an eye for detail and authenticity.
Backed by the Fabulous Blues Brothers Show Band, Jake and Elwood fire through the classics including Soul Man, Shake a Tail Feather, Gimme Some Lovin’ and plenty more in a horn-driven celebration of rhythm, blues, soul and pure crowd-pleasing fun.
It’s a special Parkes Elvis Festival event and one huge night of live music at Parkes Leagues Club.
Parkes, polish your sunglasses and fix your hats: they’re on a mission from God!
