Theo Alexander & Qow first began working together during a month-long residency at a former glassworks in Prague, live recordings from which were recycled and processed to create their debut album, So Afraid to Show I Care. At once playful and disarming, their music combines distinct elements of their respective practices to form an intangible but coherent whole, covering non-verbal voice notes, growling double basses, spoken word, and tape-loop ambience.

Szymon Wójcik & Sara Flindt - Contemporary / Classical / Post-Rock
Their music emerges from an exploration of liminal territories of harmony, challenging linguistic conventions while breaking genre boundaries. Working with natural tuning systems (just intonation) as a structural anchor, the duo creates sound worlds that merge contemporary composition with the expressive contours of left-field pop. This approach unfolds through an intuitive, open-ended practice, allowing precisely tuned harmonies to expand into more expressive and unpredictable territories.

La Zza Ro is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist hovering on the verge of sonic composition and Intuitive, experimental songwriting. Guided by a lasting love for poetry, tape recordings, loops, ethereal voices, raw noise, tangible textures and detuned universes, she weaves together lyrical sound worlds with a dream-like allure. At Music for a Whim, La Zza Ro will be presenting a new live set for grand piano, electronics and tape recordings, combining songs from her upcoming album with free improvisations.
