Description

Step into a magical world of Russian folklore.

Igor Stravinsky’s pioneering partnership with impresario Sergei Diaghilev and the Ballets Russes proved to be a turning point for 20th-century music. Experience the spine tingles from the edge of your seat, as the Boston Symphony Orchestra spins you an unforgettable tale of sorcery and heroism in The Firebird. Against the backdrop of a carnival fair puppet show, there is no escaping the emotional turmoil and existential dread in Petrushka. Don’t expect a fairytale ending.
