Creek Bend is a Bluegrass band based in Buffalo, NY that has been serving up good, hot bluegrass music for over thirty years.Their favorite engagements each year have been playing and producing local concerts with the greatest names in Bluegrass music including; The Johnson Mountain Boys, Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, the Bluegrass Cardinals, Tony Trischka, Lynn Morris, the Country Gentleman and Bill Monroe (some 40 - 50 shows total).Their highly successful concert series not only allowed them the opportunity to present the best that Bluegrass has to offer to the audiences of Western New York and Southern Ontario but it has given Creek Bend the truly unique opportunity to watch and learn from the best. This learning experience proved highly beneficial to the band members when they won first place in the band contest at the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival. Creek Bend has recorded a total of five projects including two that were released nationally by the Copper Creek label.“world class musicians... with exceptional instrumental abilities”.
