The Hayward Hawaiian Music Series continues its second season with the second of four special concerts, presenting Christmas with the Mākaha Sons — Celebrating 50 Years of Music & Aloha. One of Hawaiʻi’s most beloved and enduring musical groups, the Mākaha Sons bring their unmistakable harmonies, timeless songs and spirit of aloha to Hayward for a very special Christmas celebration. For five decades, their music has touched generations, carrying the beauty and traditions of Hawaiian music from Hawaiʻi to audiences around the world. Making the evening even more special will be Brook Mahealani Lee, Miss Universe 1997, Miss USA, Miss Hawaiʻi USA and television personality, who will serve as Master of Ceremonies and share hula throughout the evening. Brook’s warmth, personality and aloha make her the perfect host for this milestone Christmas celebration. Produced, organized and hosted as a series by Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award-winning musician Patrick Landeza, the Hayward Hawaiian Music Series continues its mission of bringing celebrated artists from Hawaiʻi and authentic Hawaiian music and culture to the heart of Hayward.
