THE SCRATCH – Live At The Imperial

Description

One of Ireland’s most exciting live bands, The Scratch , are coming to The Imperial, Cavan for a huge night on Sunday, December 27th . Formed in Dublin, The Scratch have built a sound that is completely their own — mixing the energy and intensity of heavy metal with acoustic guitars, Irish traditional influences, pounding percussion and massive singalong choruses. What began as a group of former metal musicians jamming acoustically quickly developed into something much bigger, with the band first attracting major attention after footage of them performing at the Rory Gallagher International Festival went viral in 2017. Since then, The Scratch have developed a formidable reputation as a live act, selling out venues across Ireland and touring internationally. Their 2023 album Mind Yourself reached No. 1 on the Irish Vinyl Chart and was nominated for the Choice Music Prize, while the band have gone on to perform alongside the likes of Dropkick Murphys , appear at Download Festival , and take their unmistakable sound to audiences across Ireland, the UK, Europe and beyond. Their latest album, Pull Like A Dog , was released in March 2026 through Sony Music Ireland, continuing the band’s unique collision of folk, rock, trad and metal. Expect a loud, sweaty, high-energy live show and one of the best nights of live music you’ll catch over Christmas.
