Threads

Driving fiddle tunes, rich harmonies and a contagious joy in performing—the North Shore Celtic Ensemble brings it all to the stage in Threads, celebrating more than two decades of music.
Based in North Vancouver, NSCE has taken its distinctive sound to audiences across Canada and abroad, with recent tours to Finland, Sweden and Spain. Rooted in Celtic music, the ensemble moves freely between folk, classical and jazz, pairing original compositions with imaginative arrangements of traditional tunes.
In Threads, these accomplished young musicians revisit favourites from the ensemble’s repertoire, moving from intimate melodies to full-tilt fiddle sets. Expect an evening of spirited playing, unexpected turns and music that stays with you long after the final bow.
