Description

This event is unticketed and free entry, but the event organiser will have a collection to help pay for the sound engineer on the night. EMOM York is an open, friendly space for all forms of electronic and experimental music including: drone, glitch, electrojazz, chiptune, ambient, noise, electropop, techno, loopers, improvised, live coding, cold wave, trance etc.Performers: stick your name down in the discussion for this event if you want to play, or get in touch with North Facing Garden or Simon Hickinbotham on Facebook or by email: [email protected] or on bluesky @franticspider. Your set should be about 15 minutes, but if you only want 2 minutes that’s fine! Set up/tear down whilst previous/next artist is performing. Let us know if you have any special requirements or if you need time for you analog modular behemoth to draw power from Saturn etc. Most people *will* get a slot, but we’ll do a notification in the discussion about a week before the event. Some slots will be reserved for local artists but this usually sorts itself out organically. This event is 16 and over.
