Tuesdays with Morrie

Tuesdays with Morrie is a deeply moving stage adaptation of Mitch Albom’s bestselling memoir, bringing to life the unforgettable relationship between a man racing through life and a mentor who teaches him how to slow down. When Mitch, a busy sports journalist, reconnects with his former college professor Morrie Schwartz—now facing the final chapter of his life—their weekly Tuesday visits become a masterclass in what truly matters: love, connection, forgiveness, and the courage to live with purpose.
As Morrie’s wisdom grows more urgent, Mitch discovers that the greatest lessons aren’t found in classrooms or careers, but in the fragile, beautiful moments shared between two people. Heartfelt, humorous, and profoundly human, Tuesdays with Morrie invites audiences to reflect on their own lives and celebrate the bonds that shape us.
The book was adapted into a 1999 television film directed by Mick Jackson, produced by Oprah Winfrey, and starring Jack Lemmon as Schwartz and Hank Azaria as Albom.[15] The film won an Emmy Award.[15]
