The RDSO’s 40th anniversary celebrations continue with two of the most memorable themes in modern music. Barber’s Adagio for Strings has been used in countless films, including Platoon and The Elephant Man, and Karl Jenkins’ Palladio is the soundtrack to De Beers’ famous “Diamonds Are Forever” advertising campaign.
