Aurorawave aurorawave is a boundary-pushing rock band recognized for pioneering a distinct sound they term reggaecore — a fusion of heavy guitar-driven intensity and rhythmic influences drawn from reggae. Their music integrates aggressive, groove-oriented arrangements with emotionally charged lyricism, resulting in a style that is both musically intricate and viscerally accessible. Formed with the intention of absolute authenticity, aurorawave established a clear identity with their self-titled debut album. In 2025, the band unveiled Monument, a decisive step forward in their evolution. Sugar Spine Relentless, passionate & intensely visceral; these are a few words to describe Sugar Spine, an up and coming metallic hardcore band based in the Netherlands. Sugar Spine employs an aggressive mix of hardcore, metalcore and deathcore. The band swiftly moves between metal styles, hinting influences from bands such as Stick To Your Guns, Slipknot, END, Boundaries and more. The music furiously rages between brooding clean sequences, ferocious two stepping and slamming breakdowns that assault the listener without warning. Sugar Spine originally started as a solo project in 2021 by vocalist Josh Muncke, with the first single Go Outside being written and produced in a 2-week hotel quarantine in Sydney, Australia. In June 2023, the project became a live group, and in a very short time secured multiple appearances alongside international headline acts including Jesus Piece, Breakdown of Sanity, Half Me, Misery Signals and others. The metalcore quartet have just dropped a highly lauded EP “Violent Heaven”, a 5-track onslaught that explores the relationship one has with the trials and tribulations of life. Notable singles include To Fade Quietly featuring Chris Zuehlke of Half Me as well as the title track Violent Heaven.
