Winner of an Opus Klassik award,
the album «Glass Two» by pianist Danae Dörken and vibraphonist Pascal Schumacher juxtaposes Schumacher’s own compositions with those of the American composer Philip Glass, who will be celebrating his 90th birthday in 2027. In tribute to an artistic figure who is both seminal and unclassifiable, the two performers have worked to fuse their instruments to create hypnotic sounds.
