Memphis, Tennessee THE HOT WING CAPITAL OF THE WORLD and Wings Over Memphis presents… 25th Annual World Championship Hot Wing Contest & Festival For nearly 25 years, Wings Over Memphis (501c3) has organized and presented the annual World Championship Hot Wing Contest and Festival (WDHWCF), benefitting Ronald McDonald House and now, as of last year, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s annual Walk/Run event. This event has become a community staple and one that thousands look forward to each year. From the Hen Parade to hot wings, to music, dance contests judged by local and national celebrities, and so much more, the festival brings wing slingers out of their backyards and on to the big stage to be judged by certified Kansas City Barbecue Society judges. And this year, restaurants will be added in their own division to make the event even more festive and up the ante! The WCHWCF is not only a great investment for teams and attendees, but it’s a great opportunity for sponsors to get their brands noticed. Brands like RS Financial Group, ATC Fitness, Road Warrior Staffing, Riley Family Farms, Landers Ford and more see the value of partnering with WCHWCF. All sponsors get VIP treatment at the festival, in addition to the opportunity to get their brands in front of thousands. Here are a few data points to substantiate a stellar partnership: · Attendees: 5,000+ (diverse audience, singles, families with children, etc.). Wing teams bring out their friends and families, but WCHWCF engages the greater Memphis area. The festival sees more than 30 zip codes throughout the tri-state area (TN, AR and MS) represented year after year. · Traditional Media: Placements on WREG-3 (#1 in the market), Tri-State Defender (African-American focused paper, 75 years strong), FOX13, Memphis Flyer, Daily Memphian, MSCS’ Voice of MSCS (88.5FM/TV), Action News 5, I Love Memphis Blog, Kansas City Barbecue Society’s The Bullsheet (industry trade publication) and other newsletters. o The 3-month campaign garnered more than 2 million impressions · Social Media Reach: Incredible reach to more than 10,000 followers and a strong Social Media Influencer program that altogether garnered nearly 450,000 views, with 21,000 people engaging with content across the tri-state area.
