With special support from Emily Lilian - A Singer-Songwriter, Griffin grew up listening to a variety of musicians and genres that have played an influential role in shaping his signature sound. Among others, influences such as James Taylor, Bonnie Rait, Jim Croce, Marty Robbins, Gordon Lightfoot, Simon & Garfunkel, Beatles and many other notable musicians have set foot on his ears and heart.
