<p>Looking for something different than going out on a Saturday evening? Join us for a fun introduction to padel or for the mexicano tournament, perfect for absolute beginners, occasional hobby players, or tennis enthusiasts looking to try something new. No previous experience is needed. After the event, we will gather for a social evening and have a drink together, you may bring something that you would like to share with the others. </p> <p><strong>Date & Time: 03.10.2026, 19:40 at Padelta, Milandia</strong> <br> The venue has lockers and showers available.</p> <p><strong>Cost:</strong> 40 CHF per person. It includes court rental, rackets, balls, a drink, and snacks after the game! <br> If you are a good former tennis player and have not tried padel yet, get the ticket of "Tournament Ticket", as long as you learn the rules beforehand through videos. <br> Newbies (50 CHF) will guided with an instructor / volunteer / event host sepeartely. </p> <p><strong>Schedule:</strong> <br> 19:40-19:50: Gather <br> 19:50: Quick rule briefing & team division (first timers together) <br> 20:00 - 22:00: Play padel with the possible rotating matches <br> 22:00 onwards: Socialize, chat, and maybe find a training partner!</p> <p><strong>Location</strong>: <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/efZMYwi4DqHephJB8" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Padelta, Milandia</a> <br> <strong>Parking info</strong>: <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/x9nNu8h37zp3UL697" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">nearest parking</a> (use this link also if you plan to take the train / bus)</p> <p><strong>Game Rules:</strong> <br> Because we’re using the Mexicano format, expect max one break during the whole 2 hrs games, in practice, that means each player is on court roughly 90-95% of the time. On average 1 game lasts 12 mins. <br> Scoring follows the Mexicano format; for this event, note:</p> <ul> <li>Every rally = 1 point.</li> <li>Serve switches to the other team every 2 points.</li> <li>The same player serves both serves (first from the right, then from the left).</li> <li>A game ends when the combined score is 21 (e.g., 9–12, 5–16, 8–13, etc.).</li> </ul> <p>The event is posted in several places and<strong> limited to 22 people</strong>. You may cancel the ticket up to 48 hrs. before the event and receive full refund for the initial ticket (FLEX tickets only). <br> 2. You may cancel your ticket between 48-24 hrs. before the event and receive no refund (by informing the organizer). <br> 3. You may resell the ticket up to 48 hrs. before the event to someone in the CORRECT category, it is your task to check and inform the organizer from the group chat once it is completed. <br> 4. In the last 24 hrs. No reselling is allowed. If for some reason you can not attend anymore, please contact the organizer.
