MCE pays tribute to the bass with an afternoon of drama-filled chamber music. Dvorak’s String Quintet and Rossini’s Sonata a Quattro (written when he was only twelve!) will feature the beloved backbone of the orchestra, with the program concluding with an underperformed String Quartet by Villa-Lobos.
