Cry for Me, Wolfgang! What's life without a little drama? Internationally acclaimed Canadian opera artists Meghan Lindsay, Mireille Asselin, Philippe Sly, and Parker Clements join the Ewashko Singers and the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra for an afternoon devoted entirely to Mozart under the direction of David Thies-Thompson. Stage director Roy Rallo reimagines scenes from across Mozart's operatic repertoire, stitching together familiar arias, ensembles, and choruses to tell an entirely new story, recasting Mozart's music into something altogether more tragic.
