Jarred Up Presents: Vehicle + Special guests Marking the announcement of new album ‘Fumes’ - due 19th March via Esco Romanesco Records (Neve Cariad, Elwell) - Leeds Garage-Jangle quartet Vehicle study a nostalgia addict going cold turkey on shambling new cut ‘Miserable Vibes’, released 12th October 2026. A jangling slow-build of americana hustle, where every lyric is as sharp and ear-catching as the next, ‘Miserable Vibes’ is a prime cut from Vehicle's ever-blossoming oeuvre. Filtering a passion for vintage guitar-pop through a surrealistic lyrical lens of modern life in a Northern ritish City, the quartet are busy observing all those things the world has forgotten to remember, smoking in McDonald’s among them. Hardly true to its name, here, it’s Miserable Vibes only. Explaining more about the track, frontman/guitarist Michael Cable says: “A withdrawn nostalgia addict goes cold turkey, everything floats to the surface, the conclusion is an elusive one. Archive footage floats across the words– our hero doesn’t know what era they’re from anymore, the song is about the strange guilt of living in a present that borrows too heavily from the past. In the end it doesn’t really matter – “I Love Wasting Time”. Denim’s 1992 album “Back in Denim” is a big influence on this one. £9 ADV / £13 OTD Doors - 7:45pm
