STIPE: A Celebration of R.E.M.

Join us in celebrating truly one of the greatest bands of all time!

R.E.M. emerged from Athens, Georgia, sounding like a whispered secret that somehow filled stadiums. Led by Michael Stipe’s elliptical lyrics and earnest mumble, the band fused jangly guitars, folk melancholy, punk urgency, and intellectual curiosity. They wrote songs that felt private yet political, dreamy yet grounded, inviting listeners to search for meaning rather than handing it over. From college-radio obscurity to global influence, R.E.M. proved alternative music could be humane, literate, and hugely popular without losing its soul. Their legacy echoes in countless bands who learned that mystery, melody, and conviction could coexist, quiet rebellion disguised as pop brilliance forever. Join us as the band STIPE perform their songs as we celebrate one of the most important bands in the world
