Description

We were lucky to see these guys playing at a festival in Norfolk and were very keen to bring them to Reeth.Galvanised by glowing reviews for their collaborative 2023 solo albums ‘Wave Machine’ and ‘All My Days’ and following their marriage in late 2023, Kelly and David Booth formally combined their musical talents to create contemporary folk duo Kyson Point. They write and perform stirring vignettes of the natural world and human vulnerability. Kelly’s songbird vocals and lyrical piano blend with David’s shimmering guitar and compelling voice, often evoking Laurel Canyon and Crosby Stills Nash harmonies, alongside compositions more firmly rooted in UK soil. Their first album ‘Underwater Sky’ was released in November 2025, with a follow up due in spring 2027. “High-quality songs... excellent vocal harmonies... such a fine album.” (RnR magazine)“The perfect pairing of David and Kelly's voices... here they soar... recalling the classic 70s lushness of Prelude and Crosby Stills And Nash” (Fatea)
