2026 Term 4, U1st - Y2 Sprint Training program Thursdays

We are excited to offer a Sprint Training Program for students in Years 1-2 during Term 4, led by highly experienced athletics coach Garry Temple. This program is ideal for students who are interested in improving their speed, running technique, and overall athletics performance. Sessions will focus on developing quality running mechanics, coordination, and sprint technique in a fun and supportive environment. Program Details Who: Students in Upper First and Second Class When: Thursdays, commencing 22 October Final Session: Thursday, 3 December Time: 3:00pm-4:00pm Location: Wyatt Reserve Oval Cost: $140 for the term (7 sessions at $20 per session) As places are limited, we encourage families to enrol students who are enthusiastic about developing their athletics skills and are committed to participating in the full program. Our aim is to create an engaging and focused training environment where students can make meaningful progress. With this in mind, we kindly ask that this program not be used as an alternative to after-school care. Thank you for your support and understanding. About Coach Garry Coach Garry is a Level 4 High Performance Athletics Coach accredited by Athletics Australia, with a strong focus on technical development and speed training. His experience includes: PLC Sydney (Junior and Senior School) – 10 years Sydney Grammar School (College Street Campus) – 8 years Manly Little Athletics Hurdles Coach – 8 years 24 years coaching private athletics squads Current coach with Manly Athletics Club Recipient of Manly Athletics Club Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2022 Coach Garry holds Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 Athletics Australia Accreditation and uses video analysis technology, including the Coach's Eye App, to help athletes refine their technique and maximise improvement.
