As co-founder and driving force of the iconic <br> band Dead Moon, Toody Cole, alongside her husband and creative partner Fred Cole, helped <br> forge a raw, uncompromising sound that formed a living bridge between original ’60s American <br> garage rock and later punk, garage, and early grunge movements. Her punchy, melodic bass <br> playing and unmistakable vocal presence were essential to Dead Moon’s power-trio dynamic, <br> anchoring a fiercely independent body of work that continues to resonate across generations. <br> Following the passing of drummer Andrew Loomis and Fred Cole, Toody carries the Dead Moon <br> songbook forward with Kelly Haliburton (drums), her longtime bandmate from Pierced Arrows, <br> and Christopher March (guitar) of Jenny Don’t &amp; The Spurs.
