Road Running: 10 km, 5 km The inaugural View Church Fun Run is a fundraising event in support of the Ravensmead Leaning Centre. Spectacular views of Table Mountain, community vibes and a brilliant cause to support children's learning and development in Ravensmead. What's in it for you? When you enter the View Church Fun Run , you're getting so much more than a great active day. Support a Worthy Cause – The Ravensmead Learning Centre supports children learning and development. Discovery Vitality Points – Discovery Vitality members can earn extra Vitality Points by completing the event. Finisher's Medal – Every participant who crosses the finish line will receive a commemorative finisher's medal. Run to Win. Run to Learn. Venue: Our host is the Tygerberg High School where you will find View Church every Sunday. Why not make Sunday 31 January 2027 Medal Sunday! Routes: Short Route: 5km Road Run Long Route: 10km Road Run (2 laps of the 5km route) Team Entries: You can run the 10km solo, BUT... why not enter a relay team of 2 and do 5km each and challenge your friends and family for the win? Team prizes up for grabs! Late Entries: There will be late entries available on race day. Registration: Saturday 30 January 2027 from 7:00 at the Dragonfly Tri gazebo at the Tygerberg High School Rugby Field. Start Times: 8:00 - 10km Solo and Team run 8:15 - 5km Solo run Timing: Your race number is your timing tag. Prize Giving: There will be podium prizes as well as amazing prizes for the lucky draw.
