Malcolm’s musical journey began as the lead singer of the soul band Times Square, performing alongside renowned artists including Clem Curtis & The Foundations, Jocelyn Brown, and Jimmy James & The Vagabonds. After countless people commented on how much his voice resembled Lionel Richie’s, Malcolm created his acclaimed tribute show, which quickly gained international recognition. In 2000, he had the opportunity to meet Lionel Richie at the opening of the Printworks Entertainment Complex in Manchester, where he received Lionel’s blessing and endorsement for the show. Malcolm met Lionel again in 2009 while appearing on BBC television and later shared the Royal Box with him at the prestigious London Palladium.
