The Blanc Box presents EBBA

We’re kicking off the first season of Blanc Box with EBBA, a Swedish singer-songwriter, pianist, and composer based in New York. EBBA brings together jazz, contemporary songwriting, and an instinct for unexpected harmonic and rhythmic ideas. Her music moves between lyrical, intimate melodies and more playful, unconventional textures, drawing from influences ranging from Herbie Hancock and Keith Jarrett to Joni Mitchell and contemporary Swedish songwriting.

For the inaugural Blanc Box, EBBA will bring her music into the intimate setting of The Blanc, creating an evening centered around live performance, close listening, and connection. Her show marks the beginning of Blanc Box and the first of a season of performances celebrating emerging artists and new ways of experiencing live music.
