The Delltones began their incredible journey in 1958 and soon became one of Australia’s most beloved vocal groups, recording chart hits including “Come a Little Bit Closer,” “Get A Little Dirt on Your Hands,” and “Hangin’ 5.” Their unique harmonies and vibrant stage presence made them household names throughout the Australian entertainment industry. Led by the charismatic Ian Wilson — affectionately known as “Pee Wee” — whose booming bass vocals became a signature sound of the group, The Delltones toured extensively across Australia and Europe. They captivated audiences with sold-out concerts and frequent appearances on Australian television over many years.
