The Empire’s Ideological War: Psychological Warfare & the Marxism-Leninism Project

This presentation excavates the hidden history of the Rockefeller Foundation’s “Marxism-Leninism Project,” detailing how the US ruling class and intelligence agencies strategically funded thinkers like Herbert Marcuse, among many others, to wage an intellectual war against revolutionary communism. It demonstrates how the imperial superstructure cultivated a “compatible left” that stripped Marxism of its anti-imperialist and state-building imperatives. By exposing the material networks and institutional pipelines behind Western or imperial Marxism, the talk shows how this psychological warfare operation contributed to redefining the boundaries of acceptable leftist thought.
