The Family Battenberg

The Family Battenberg are a self-produced four-piece garage-rock band from Cardiff. They deliver their own brand of rock and roll flavoured guitar riffs, amidst a blend of driving Motorik rhythms, and curious lyrical content. To date the band has delivered standout shows at leading showcase events, including Reeperbahn, ESNS, FOCUS Wales, and The Great Escape, propelling the band to rapidly growing audiences, and much excitement for what's to come. Reporting on their recent SXSW appearance, The Austin Chronicle namechecked the band as a highlight, stating '...Family Battenberg achieved pure oneness, the universal chord.' Following their three early single releases, in 'Anteater', 'Foggy', and 'Spiders', respectively - all championed by the likes of BBC Introducing, 6Music, and Radio X - the band recently released their debut EP 'Spider Rock Forever', from which the singles were taken. The EP has received high acclaim from across the new music world, and culminated in the band's debut headline UK tour. With their debut album now in the works, there's big plans ahead for The Family Battenberg. -- 20% OFF FOOD WITH YOUR TICKET We’ve teamed up with our neighbours at Neon Cactus and Power, Corruption & Lies to offer 20% off your total food bill for some delicious pre gig scran, please reserve your space below on the bar you would like to eat in, and bring your gig tickets to confirm your discount.
