Kimo West, Shem Kahawaii, & Wainani hula

Experience a rare musical journey with Grammy winner Kimo West, a multitalented guitarist celebrated for his dual mastery. While many know him as the versatile lead guitarist for "Weird Al" Yankovic, this is your chance to witness his deeper passion: the soul-stirring beauty of Hawaiian slack key guitar. He didn't just learn this style; he taught himself by immersing himself in classic recordings, creating a rich, melodic style all his own. He is just returning from a Lord of the Strings Tour with other prominent guitarists and also finishing a tour with Weird Al.

Hosting him is Kahumoku's talented protégé, Shem Kahawaii, and the exquisite hula dancer, Wainani Kealoha. Together, they will share great stories, Hawaiian culture, and beautiful hula dancing. Join us for an uplifting night of extraordinary music and heartfelt stories.
